What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a talking therapy using hypnosis and which focuses a clients subconscious mind to help bring about a desired change to thoughts, feelings or behaviours. These desired changes are discussed prior to the session taking place
Hypnotherapy is a modern, fast and highly effective approach that will allow you to understand the root cause and reason behind why you feel a certain way or why you can’t seem to change patterns of thinking or behaviours.
Using a combination of therapeutic techniques (including aspects of Psychodynamic, Solution Focussed Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and NLP) into our programme, it allows us to see how interpretations are made from experiences in your past affects your life now, and with this knowledge we can then begin to challenge the self-limiting beliefs, change our perception of them and replace them with new powerful beliefs.
How it Works
When your mind is deeply relaxed, you are in a state of highly focussed attention and suggestibility, a state we all experience naturally every single day. This state of mind is very much like being absorbed in a good book or a movie and getting lost in the story, or feeling relaxed and allowing your mind to wander during a massage or at the end of a yoga class. In this state you can turn your attention inwards and make positive changes to how you think, feel and behave.
Up to 90 percent of your behaviour is controlled by your subconscious mind, this is why it’s difficult to change behaviour, feelings and thoughts at a conscious level. Hypnotherapy allows you to bypass your conscious mind and go straight to the subconscious where you can change your negative beliefs, emotional reactions and old patterns of behaviours by replacing them with new empowering ways of being.

Step 1: Discover
We begin our programme with a discovery session to uncover your deepest desires, core beliefs and values. We will discuss how these issues may be stopping you from moving forward and taking control of your life with more focus, energy and confidence.
Step 2: Clear
Once we identify the challenges you are facing, we then work with your subconscious mind in a guided hypnotherapy session, to clear your mind of the negative barriers in your life and begin to make space for the positive changes and powerful new beliefs.
Step 3: Re-Frame
Our next session addresses the root causes of these barriers in a more intensive Hypnotherapy session usually lasting around 2 hrs. We discuss particular moments in your life where limiting beliefs and negative patterns of behaviours were created. Through re-framing the beliefs you created and applying positive therapeutic suggestions you will then begin to transform those beliefs to create new, healthier patterns of thinking that allow you to feel empowered and in control of your thoughts and emotions.
Step 4: Transform
You will receive a personalised transformational recording, which you listen to for 21 days. This is a key element of the programme where you will embed your new positive and powerful beliefs and behaviours into particular areas of your life and will make these profound changes permanent.
Step 5: Integrate
As you integrate your new beliefs and behaviours, we will catch up weekly over the following three weeks. This is a chance for us to review your progress each week observing signs of growth, but also giving you the space to discuss any feelings or thoughts that have come up since working together. From these sessions you will learn that changing how you think and feel, changes your view of yourself, which ultimately changes your life.
